State of Maine v. Michael A. Doyle
Lawyers: Addendum to Complaint March 18, 2002 Ms. Karen Kingsley Dear Ms. Kingsley: RE: Ralph Dyer Complaint Please accept this letter as an addendum to my earlier reply to Dyer's response. In the recent past Dyer back his car into a woman's car in a local parking lot. He asked her not to report to the Secretary of State's Office or her own insurance company, to get an estimate, and to come to his office where he would issue her a check personally for the cost to repair her car. When Dyer saw the estimate he relented and had his own insurance company pay the woman. I find it troubling that an attorney would offer a "quick payment" to induce non-reporting of an accident to a State record's office controlling licenses and auto registrations. I have first hand knowledge of this action by Dyer, as I know the woman involved who is also the CFO of a well-known Portland company. Character is defined by many "as doing the right thing when no one is watching". It would appear that Dyer is not able to do that when someone is watching. Sincerely, Michael A. Doyle
