State of Maine v. Michael A. Doyle
Lawyers: Letter to Hallett July 20, 2001 Tom Hallett RE: VanDyke's letter dated July 17th Tom, I am more annoyed by his footnote than I probably should be knowing his level of preparation. However, for the record, I want you to know that I entered the Lewiston office complex empty handed, ie. no brief case or anything else that I could use to transport or conceal documents in. I never left the conference room for the entire time I was there ie. no trips to my car etc. When I did leave David was with me for a few minutes prior to my walking out the door and saw the four pages that he had personally copied, those being the two Dyer memos and the two page DeTroy letter. All of which I have given to you which gave rise to my changing attorneys to you. I take as an insult that David implies that I have taken anything other than the afore mentioned pages. That he would accuse me of taking pages from the file to make him look worse than he already does is just too much! Michael Doyle
